1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, registering for, or using the Quick Team Connect ("QTC") web application ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service. QTC is provided "as is" and its availability, functionality, and features may change at any time without notice.

2. Assumption of Risk

You expressly acknowledge and agree that your use of the Service is at your sole risk. The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. Quick Team Connect, its developers, owners, affiliates, and licensors expressly disclaim all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including, but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

3. Limitation of Liability

Under no circumstances, including but not limited to negligence, shall the developers, creators, owners, or operators of Quick Team Connect be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages. This includes, but is not limited to, damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data, or other intangible losses resulting from:

  • The use or the inability to use the Service.
  • The cost of procurement of substitute goods and services resulting from any data, information, or services obtained through the Service.
  • Unauthorized access to or alteration of your transmissions or data.
  • Statements or conduct of any third party on the Service.
  • Any coordination failures, miscommunications, event mismanagement, or physical harm resulting from reliance on the software during operational shifts.
  • Any other matter relating to the Service.

In no event shall the total liability of the developers, creators, owners, or operators to you for all damages, losses, and causes of action (whether in contract, tort, or otherwise) exceed the amount paid by you, if any, for accessing this Service during the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the date of the claim, or fifty United States Dollars ($50.00), whichever is less.

4. Subscriptions, Payments, and Billing

Quick Team Connect offers various subscription tiers (including Free and Paid plans) that provide different levels of service and feature access. Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis (e.g., monthly or yearly).

  • Payment Processing: All payments are processed securely through a third-party payment provider (Stripe). We do not store full credit card numbers or raw payment details on our servers.
  • Auto-Renewal: Paid subscriptions auto-renew by default at the end of each billing cycle unless you cancel or update your billing preferences via the Customer Portal prior to the renewal date.
  • Cancellations and Refunds: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellations will take effect at the end of your current billing cycle. We do not provide refunds or credits for partially used billing periods unless required by law.
  • Proration: If you upgrade your plan mid-cycle, the payment provider may automatically prorate the difference. Downgrades typically take effect at the start of the next billing cycle.

5. Plan Features and Limitations

The availability of certain features—such as the maximum allowed team members per shift, the ability to add multiple supervisors, or the generation of PDF shift reports—is strictly tied to your active subscription tier.

  • Tier Downgrades: If you downgrade to a lower tier or your subscription expires or is canceled, you will instantly lose access to premium features (e.g., multiple supervisors, PDF reports) and your allowed maximum team size will be reduced to the lower tier's limit.
  • Enforcement: The Service actively enforces these limits during active shifts. Attempts to bypass tier limits or restrictions may result in immediate termination of the shift or suspension of your account.

6. Promotional Codes and Free Trials

QTC may occasionally offer promotional codes or trial periods providing reduced rates or temporary premium access. Promo codes are non-transferable, may have usage or expiration limits, and are subject to validation upon redemption. QTC reserves the right to revoke or void any promo code if fraudulent activity is suspected.

7. No Mission-Critical Reliance

Quick Team Connect is a supplemental communication and management tool. It is not designed, intended, or authorized for use in life-saving, life-sustaining, emergency response, or highly hazardous environments where failure could lead to death, personal injury, or severe environmental damage. You agree not to rely on this Service for emergency communications or critical safety operations.

8. User Data and Privacy

Data Retention: Temporary session data (shifts, reports, and broadcasts) is systematically and permanently deleted from our servers 8 days after a session is closed. During this 7-day window, eligible tier subscribers may access their session history. After 8 days, the data is completely erased.

While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. The developers and owners of Quick Team Connect are not liable for any data breaches, loss of data, or unauthorized access to user accounts, shift reports, or broadcast logs. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information.

9. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Quick Team Connect, its developers, owners, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or debt, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees) arising from your use of and access to the Service, or your violation of any term of these Terms of Service.
